August third is National Watermelon Day so I have posted a watermelon craft which you can find using the Craft link and I also have a cute watermelon cookie recipe on the recipe link. I love watermelon and its best yummy snack on hot days like we have been having so dig in and enjoy!

There are only 50 minutes left until August 1st so I thought I would update. According to the Holiday link to the side August first is National Ice Cream Sandwich Day so I posted a recipe for homemade ice cream sandwiches on the Recipe link and on the Craft link there is a project for Fly Away Magnets which are so cute and fit in with the Bug theme from the August cupcakes.

As a Mom of two I get a lot of Parents/Kids magazines that I love to read but just don't have the space for. They always have these great ideas of fun stuff to do or great crafts that kids love but where am I supposed to put all of that information until I can use it? Since my daughter Penelope was born I have kept a folder with all these cute ideas in it because I swear that on day I am going to do all of these fun things with her but now I cant even find the folder and that is why this blog is here. I decided to compile all of the crafts, recipes, holiday ideas and more into one site so I have a one stop place to get all my ideas without having to shuffle through hundreds of pieces of paper.
